A Little Something for the Hubby: Smooth Viking Beard Conditioner

I'm a woman who loves a man with a beard. For me, I prefer the facial hair on the Hubby. While ultimately it's up to him, he does it because I love it, which is why I was thrilled to be offered a sample of this male pampering beard conditioner from Smooth Viking! He was too! It's probably the first time I have seen his eyes light up when referencing anything that has to do with my blogging. I get the hint honey!

Smooth Viking Beard Conditioner

Does it work?

The hubby was quite impressed with the way his beard felt after using for a week. He has such coarse hair and doesn't make well for kissing. It was significantly softer and not as brittle. This also makes it easier to smooth over so you don't have little hairs sticking straight out.

How do you use it?

He uses it after he showers and puts a pea to dime size amount of conditioner in the palm of his hand. He uses his fingers to comb it through and leaves it on throughout the day.

What is it made of?

All ingredients are 100% Natural:

Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba, Beeswax, Pure Essential Oil.

Do you like the feel and smell of the product?

Leaving the product on the beard grants you the best results. It doesn't leave any left over residue and doesn't feel oily, which was a concern for the hubby.  The smell was not too strong and resembled a manly smell. I smile while typing this because most men don't want to smell like flowers... on the other hand, some do.

Wifey's opinion:

Considering that I get to kiss this softer face I give it a thumbs up! This will make a great birthday or father's day gift!

Occasionally, I will do product reviews in exchange for a free product. The opinions and personal beliefs are my own and I believe in the trust and integrity of honest blogging.

Date night Bucket List: France at the World Showcase in Epcot

I had the opportunity to check off one of my dating bucket list items on our recent family vacation to Disney World! I wasn't sure if we would get the opportunity to spend some time alone and it magical happened!!

I've have been dying to try the

Les Chefs de France

restaurant in the World Showcase at Epcot. You need to make the reservations ahead of time and it needs to be done via

, not over the phone. We learned this the hard way as we scrambled on the internet via our phones. We were lucky to be able to make the reservation that morning.

Everyone at the restaurant is from the country of France so you genuinely feel like you are there. There is a low light ambiance that makes this restaurant intimate. That is one of my favorite things about Disney World. You always feel like you have escaped reality and you are somewhere else in different place or time.

The Food

The food was amazing! I mean AMAZING! I haven't had a meal like that in a long time and it was well worth the price. They even brought out these cute little loaves of french bread for the table.

We both enjoyed the Filet de boeuf grille (beef tenderloin) with a green peppercorn sauce and the potato gratin and green beans. Here is a link to their

The meat was very tender and juicy almost like butter melting in your mouth. The potato gratin was very creamy and delicious as well. The green beans were cooked so perfectly and lightly buttered. All together the meal was heaven! I enjoyed dipping some of the potato in the peppercorn sauce. It was so subtle an not overwhelming at all.  Of course I paired my steak with a glass of Pinot Noir.

We were lucky to have a table at the very front of the restaurant near the windows and caught the evening show of illuminations. We would have grabbed some dessert but our plan was to hit up the

Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie

for some chocolate croissants and coffee. Unfortunately, it was closed by the time we finished our meal. Poor planning on our part but the evening was still amazing.

Overall Experience

I would definitely suggest this restaurant as I'm sitting here dreaming about the delightful cuisine. The atmosphere was very real and I would even recommend taking the kids as they have a wonderful kids menu.

What I enjoy as well was that this restaurant wasn't too stuffy. Since it's inside the park you get a variety of fellow dinners from the sun soaked park hoppers to the date nighters like the hubby and myself. You can dress this evening up or just enjoy a fabulous meal. It's up to you!

Have you every dined at Les Chefs de France? What did you think of the digs? What other restaurants have you enjoyed at the parks? Let's have a discussion in the comments!

Valentines: Date Night Bucket List!

A friend of mine from work had mentioned how her hubby took it upon himself to do the sweetest thing ever! He created her a bucket list of dates.

When I told my hubby about the idea, he was equally excited as I was. Together we created a list of 48 exciting dates to liven up our marriage and put the spark back into date night!

I decided to take it a step further and surprise him on V-Day... Shhhh I pasted the bucket list on the inside of a smash book I created. This way we can check them off one by one and have the memories all in one place! I hope you all have a very fun filled Valentine's Day!!
